970 Euro season pass for 3V's. I dont bedrudge the small increases each year as they are constantly investing in new lifts and improvements.
Dartford toll to get to France was 1.00 now £1.50, not improvements whatsoever...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Kruisler, Agreed with SkiWelt- granted it's huge but as you say the top of the mountain areas are where you're likely to linger for the most part, and that part was fairly limited in many ways and very busy a lot of the time.

182€ for a six day pass in 2Alpes, which gives you two days in Alpe d'Huez and one in each of Serre Chevalier, Montgenevre, Puy St Vincent and Sestriere should you wish it. Remember that prices are regressive - the longer the pass the less the per day rate. |
La Grave still covered as well, if the links are open?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

achilles, yes and if the link isn't open yes except for Saturdays and Public Holidays (this from the La Grave lift crew is completely different from what we were told when buying the passes)

Swirly, my information is that the drag lifts at La Grave are kaput because the glacier moved and took the pylons with it - won't be fixed until the summer. Much discussion going on as to whether it will be possible to open the link and if so how to get people back to 2Alpes.
achilles, yes, in theory.

Do you think the price of a lift pass also reflects the general prices in the resort i.e. ski hire etc.
Having just returned from Morzine and having been to Samoens last year, it seemed to me that the pass prices are a good indicator of overall costs.
Next year, as a family of four, we will need to look more closely at our costs including lift pass, ski hire when choosing the resort/area.

Lizzard, I'd heard that too not really a problem for us though although it would make getting there easier and cheaper.
