Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone travelled with British Airways recently?

Hi all.
I'm off to Meribel at the end of Jan.
We're flying British Airways, and from what I can tell they carry boards for free but usually I pack the rest of my stuff in the bag.
The website states you shouldn't put anything other than board and boots in the bag.
I just wondered if anyone had been told to take there clothes out of there board bag before checking it in?
Thanks for any responses.

Went with them to Geneva 10 days ago. Great service.

Had three boards, two sets of boots, some bindings and then jackets, electricals (plugs, adaptors etc) and all the medical supplies (asprin etc) in a big RIDE roller type bag. We made it to the check-in desk with minutes before the flight closed at Gatwick, the bag weighed 3kg more than the limit (it weighed so much the carry straps broke) and they still checked it through (albeit it as oversized baggage) without even batting an eyelid.

BA are the best for wintersports and the cheapest - I'll never use budget airlines again. Smile

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thats what I thought until they cancelled my flight and the only alternative they offered was going to cost me an extra £1000 for my family of 4. But thats another story which has already been thrashed to death on here.
