Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I wonder are people being influenced by previous comments but I much prefer No 2, it looks far more extreme, in No 1 the tracks are not very smooth and the skier's technique looks bad, there is no feeling of speed, it could be any old snowhead in that shot but No 2 looks like a pro.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Peter Ross, exactly. Put it to vote on TGR and I bet that 80% of people will say cover 2.

Number 1 - because it looks cleaner and more eyecatching on the shelf imho. I see what ppl are saying about no 2 but don't think it works for the cover of a magazine.

Something about #2 is more appealing. So! #2.

The online voting suddenly took a surge from somewhere - maybe the States? 2 was trailing but it looks less obvious...

The cover has been revealed to subscribers. As usual, it's sitting on my desktop but I might as well be throwing sticks at the moon for all the likelihood of it appearing on this thread.

fallliner, how miserable you sound... never mind - console yourself counting the money as it rolls in Wink

I think it is a really good edition btw. Nice articles, reviews of packs - and also of fartbags (which I guess are therefore officially back in Very Happy )

I am particularly grateful that you continue to discourage visitors to Jackson Hole by saying that the nearest airport is 144km (rather than about 15km) away... (page 101) Toofy Grin

stoatsbrother, flick back a couple of pages to page 98 and see if you can spot the deliberate mistake with Baquiera-Beret. I'll give you a clue, if it's nearest airport is Toulouse then it's a fair bet it shouldn't be sat next to Sierra Nevada!!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

fallliner, nice issue and the cover looks a treat Very Happy

BTW, you guys should get up to Scotland this weekend - it's dumping up there in the west and Glencoe (probably the 'freeridiest' of all the Scot ski areas) is filling up beautifully. Apparently it's liable to be top to car park riding, am seriously tempted to head up Friday myself for the weekend snowHead
