It's my son's birthday when we're in Zell am Zee and just wondered if someone could recommend us a nice restaurant - family friendly.
Thank you
David

Hi there
Last year was my sons 9th birthday whilst we were in Zell. I went into the Areit Alm restaurant at the top of the Areitbahn 1 lift and asked them to lay something on for the next day at lunchtime
Herr Sock ----- I,m not making that up--- put on a lovely spread with a really nice home made birthday cake complete with mini fireworks and a reserved table for about 50 euro
Would highly reccomend them
As the post above says though if your son is older may not be his thing
You dont have to be able to ski to get up there and the view is lovely though my 5yr old was a bit scared in the bubble lift!!
Hope that helps

I can't remember the name, but the place at the top of the road from the station does nice pizzas.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

This above ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^is an example of why you should never take directions from your female passenger in a car, or anywhere else for that matter! ! ! ! !
Sorry Elizabeth

The Kupfer Kessel (Copper Pot), does a huge range including kiddie friendly stuff. It's relatively inexpensive too. Can be busy though so would recommend prebooking.
This is most probably the place up from the trainstation recommended by Elizabeth.
PS Try the beer there, its Lowenbrau brought in from Munich.

I wouldn't recommend the Chinese.
