I have Nordica`s "Hot rod nitros", bought last year and I get very used to them, just brilliant.
They are for 40% offpiste and for 60 % piste skiing.
Don`t know what to do? I love them...
Going to buy ski boots in BC, coz my old GS racing Langes is too tight, I suppose, for 11 weeks..

Dumping again and storms set to continue through the week. Skiing keeps getting better we now have a skier packed base for 70% of Mtn.
I'm betting the GRIZ is quite awake and planning some sick snow depths this week.

Sharkymark, Yep, almost the same weather pattern as last year. Just got back from 3 weeks in Big White. Superb snow conditions throughout, averaging around 80 cm per week. All super light powder until the last few days when temperatures rose from around -15C to just below freezing. Then got a little wet snow, but still great to ski on. Base is now up to a solid 175 cm and should be fantastic when the snow hits again.

uktrailmonster, sounds good...well, a lot better than good actually! Missing BC; Austria was great but a foot of fresh snow doesn't have quite the same effect as a meter

Seems like we're the only people skiing in BC this season 
Early season conditions in Big White have been excellent with a better than average base for this time of year (134 cm now) and some good recent snowfalls keeping things fresh. Pistes are nearly empty on the run up to Christmas, so no shortage of fresh tracks on and off piste. After a mild week of cloud/fog and persistent light snowfall, the weather has now turned cold (-15C yesterday) and dry with clear skies and excellent piste conditions. Unfortunately no fresh powder in the forecast for the next week, so will have to make do with a spot of sunny piste skiing and the occasional patch of untouched powder in the trees.
