Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Another solo to Val D'isere/ Tignes-Buddy up

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

Looking to go out on my own to Val or Tignes this Saturday (6th Dec) for the season but I currently have no job or accommodation. Is there anyone out there who wants to buddy up or help a brother out with cheap accom for at least a week. Budget is circa £300.

Thanks

Jonathan

Jonathan B,

Because you haven't received a response here. Have you tried the "Natives" website which is for seasonnaires?

I think the reason you haven't received a response is because your question is so open, are you just looking for accommodation and then looking for work when you get there?

Have you been to Val D before? Do you know which bars to go to to ask about accommodation and work. Try the Moris Pub, the Petit Danois and Saloon Bars when you get there. YSE are offering half board accommodation for that week for £300 if you can get there on the 7th. Their website is "yseski.co.uk"?

I'll be there from the 7th to the 21st of Dec but staying in a chalet hotel with Mark Warner. In fact when you get to Val D go into the Mark Warner hotels and see if they will sell you half board cheap accom. Their hotels are Toviere in La Daille, The Moris and Cygnaski in or near the centre of town.

PM me if you want to talk to me, I'll send you my phone no.

You should have started looking earlier - I know that doesn't help. Good Luck.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The YSE price includes a flight home on the 14th but no flight out on the 7th.
