Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is the skiing difficult in St.Anton?

There are some really nice and easy runs in St Anton and simply taking the galzig/gampen gondola back to town solves most problems that have been mentioned on here. I was there for a day last year (been there quite a few times before) with some one who had not been on skis forn 20 years and he did just fine - nice easy blues down to St Christoph etc,. and Rendal is a dream for early intermediates. As with most resorts the home run is always a pain but just take an egg or gondola down and it will all be fine and just as easy as most resorts.

I guess it depends on how confident the person is with people around them. Rendl is fairly quiet, but the run down to St Christoph can get very crowded, and the top part is reasonably narrow - a combination that some beginner skiers will find disconcerting.

You can also download on Nassereinbahn, thus avoiding the circus that is the Nasserein run at the end of the day - ice, punctuated by moguls, inhabited by out-of-control tail-swishers, especially those who have had a big afternoon session at the Rodelbahn Hutte.
