we were there in early april - it's a fine place that i enjoy immensely when the bargains are to be had (early/late). There's never lift lines anyway, so I think the new gondola is more about getting folks up to the old restaurant day, night and summer. Guess it does bypass teh short beginners lift but its not a big deal

gortonator, No wonder I never see you at Silver you're skiing everywhere else, took the OH to SV she did love it including the quality of lunch. Some really good telemarkers there I've done some races there with them, love the Hawaiian Classic.

We were there weekend of Hawaiian classic. Very amusing and some fine teleskiers indeed. I did like the bar in the lift line at the bottom 
Got a Silver season pass for next year, so should be there a bit more ...

saw that - might just go there for Xmas as theree's some great deals and Sun Valley usually does pretty well on El Nino years
