Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
I've seen on Snowheads threads about normal insurance packages but need to get one for a number of trips - longest is a month. Does anyone have a recommendation? Will be for me and Mr PP and will need to cover off piste (without a guide) plus equipment.

Thanks! Toofy Grin

Try these guys: http://www.mpibrokers.com/
We use them for our staff insurance and I'm sure the'd quote for the kind of cover you are after - friendly bunch.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The Ski Club annual policies seem pretty good, and you can choose your trip length up to 60 days. Covers off piste without a guide.

Parkyparcours, I use them but I can't give you much information since the only claim I've ever made was for a bent ski many years ago. They paid up when I produced receipts.

ctskifam, Thanks for the mpi link. I have just fixed up insurance for a five week trip. I had to disclose a pre-existing medical condition for a family member who is not on the trip. All dealt with very efficiently and quickly. Thanks

I recently used http://www.etravelinsure.com/index.htm for skydiving insurance and it was only £10 as a top up on my exsisting annual policy to cover 4 days adventure sports - skydiving. I didn't have to use them so can't say how good they would be but I see they do any period of ski cover up to 90 days including:

" Winter sports activities are included in 2 categories in our Schedule of Activities: in Category 3 for conventional Winter Sports cover under section (P), which is optional; and in category 5 High Risk for which there is no extra charge. Category 2 includes Liability cover, whereas Category 5 covers Medical and Repatriation costs only. "

Worth a look. Very Happy
