Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Three chaps [in mid 60s] who enjoyed skiing together off-piste with a guide last year in La Grave are looking for three more [any age] to make a viable group for a similar week in March 2009. Possible destinations are Andermatt, Klosters or St Anton. We are looking for some challenging (but not too scary) skiing at SCGB silver/purple off-piste standard. If interested, whether there are one, two or three of you, please do not hesitate as accommodation is getting well booked.

You need to be strong intermediate and have had some off-piste experience. Much depends on the snow and weather conditions. You really need a guide because it is easy to get fatally off course.
You need to

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

As those organizing (?) the MSB seem to be in purdah, and so we do not know where the MSB will be (or even for sure if it will happen) I might like to jump into this trip. It's getting to the stage when I would like to have something planned for March.

Thanks, Achilles. We've made no further plans yet but I have edited my starting post to make clear that we would welcome individuals.
