Cheers

Don't know the answer but most race helmets are 'sleek' you could look at a Scott or Uvex Slalom or GS helmet (chin guard optional)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yeah Sweet Rooster is about the lightest and lowest profile you can get, great helmet. About the most expensive too.

I had a look at the Sweet 'Trooper' a little while back. It's nearly as low-profile as the Rooster, but about £50 cheaper. Might be worth a look (?)
I think the Trooper also has a couple of air-vents (which the Rooster doesn't seem to have).

I have a sweet helmet, mine doesn't have vents and I was fine even summer skiing.
I too didn't want to look like a mushroom or chupa chup, so asked the family to contribute on the basis they would have more chance of seeing me again if they did.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

You can always try somewhere that stocks paddler's kit, they do the same helmets but without the goggle strap. It's called a Rocker, but it's basically the same.
The dealers are listed here: http://www.sweetprotection.com/snow/#/dealers/

You know it makes sense.

Conversely, after 2 hours of wearing a sweet trooper it gave me a throbbing headache and cut off the circulation, despite being carefully sized. There ain't a lot of adjustment so make sure you've got the 'right shaped head'. I clearly haven't
