Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Samoens Webcam Confusion

Whilst trying to see some lovely pictures of Samoens in the November snow, I've come across this webcam photo labelled 'Tete de Saix';'Piste de liaison' and 'Pierce Neige'.

The photo and the titles don't make any sense to me as there isn't a bubble that goes to Tete de Saix' - does anyone recognise where this is a photo from?

Underneath it says Arrivée télésiège La Lanche, that is a chair from high up in Morillon going to the head of the slopes in Samoens.

From there you can drop into Flaine.

I've noticed that most of the zooms on the cameras in Grand Massif are in the wrong place on the master picture.

Possibly due to the fact that they have updated grand-massif.com for 2009, maybe these are old links that go to areas on the new site? As long as there is snow on them, I dont really care Cool

stevo_the_saddler, The only Samoens webcam I keep finding, shows a picture from last May! One of my owners there tells me there is snow in the village today and very cold, but Snow Forecast doesn't show that and without a webcam.....is it me? Puzzled Thanks Very Happy

This one is at Samoens 1600 (where they take off to parapente, they usually twist it around for the ski season to another position looking at the GM Express)
