Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello,
Is there anything inherently bad about Marker m 900 or 1000's? I was investigating online exactly where to mount the bindings for/aft on a pair of
K2
Fujatives and came across a number of sites ( can't think of them at the moment) that were speaking badly of Marker bindings. I believe they were mentioning prereleasing at the toe and that you could compensate by applying more than usual forward pressure. I have always thought highly of Marker bindings. Anyone have any input? Thanks!

Arv, Yes I believe that was one of the web sites I came across that was discussing it.

Burt
, the big bad boys of American freeskiing (TGR) have decided that at very high DIN settings the Marker bindings do not have a very consistent release point. It's mostly chest beating. It's funny though as most of the site are coming round to the new range of Marker bindings.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I had
spyderjon
do a binding check on my Marker bindings (came with the K2s). They were set to 5.75 but were releasing higher, he has set them to less than 5 (and each ski is different) to ensure they do release at 5.75.
