Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Avago, I'm not entirely sure what the difference is, if any, between Piou Piou and First Ski Lessons..... but my 4 year old who went to ski school for the first time with ESF in April took a backpack containing spare gloves and hat ( they probably will get lost, and if they don't get lost they will get wet ), a dry base layer, snowboots, a snacksize choccy bar, a drink and a bit of cash - i think that's all i packed anyway..... Avago,

With our son when he was three in Piou Piou, he spent a fair bit of time waiting for others to get on/off the magic carpet, put skis on/off etc. and would play in the snow making his mittens soaking wet by the end of the lesson, so I'd second the spare pair point.

One other thing that caught us out with our son (but interestingly not with our daughter) was to ensure they had a toilet visit not only before the lesson, but also at the snack break. A quiet word with the instructor after the first mishap to remind our son to have a pee, made for a much more comfortable second half lesson for him! Embarassed
