Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

O'Neil gloves with wrist reinforcement

I put a pair on in the O'Neil store in Bluewater, on Saturday. I like the idea of them and they have nice long gaits but they felt like they could get very uncomfortable after a day of wear.

Anyone tried them?

Probably not a bad idea if you board as less pfaff than separate wrist guards. However I suggest you read this if you are a boarder - http://www.ski-injury.com/specific-injuries/wrist

But not much use (IMHO) as a skier, as you're less likely to fall on your wristis.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

bar shaker,

No use if you are skier...
Up to now I have worn Dakine wrist guards under standard gloves , which were confortable but because the splint is inside the hand it is a pain when trying to do things with your hands ( no jokes pls! Toofy Grin )..
So I got myself some Burton Impact gloves in the sale: all in one glove+guard and splint is at the back of the hand..
As per you though, the system is bulkier that my previous stuff and I have been wondering about how comfortable it will be..

The answer will be know sometime in January.. snowHead

I should have said that I am a boarder.

The O'Neil gloves have two splints and these are pulled tight to your wist by a velcrow band.

I'll give them a go and report back.
