I'm usually the kind of person that never wins anything in raffles, or prize draws, not his time !
I went on a short break to Tignes in April with Mountainsun, Enjoyed it so much that I decided to book for the Ski and board camp for 2nd to 5th of December. Just after I booked I got an E-mail from them that said If I signed up for an email news letter I would be entered in a prize draw, for a free 3 day short break in one of their other chalets. Well I thought no more about it until this morning. I was Checking my emails for the first time in 3 days, when I opened this!!

Are you a sadist telling us about your good fortune?
Seriously though, congratulations enjoy your prize. The only comment I will make is that Les Coche is only 1500 metres above sea level ie quite low in the La Plagne ski area. You may not have enough snow that low if you go late in the season.

welshflyer, Yes!
I'd thought about that, the lowish altitude I mean, but I'm of to Banff for 2 weeks in Jan and I have a week tentativley arranged for March. I allways try and aviod the school hols so that only leaves me April. If the worst comes to the worst I'll just have to get the lift up to and down from the higher areas of La Plagne.

You know it makes sense.

Congratulations Rookiemark
You can usually get down to Les Coches the second week of April.
Conditions can get a bit "interesting" below the Pierres Blanches chair, but thats all part of the fun.
(Note: linked pic not actually Les Coches in April, but could be)

Ignore the doom and gloom welshflyer, was skiing down to lower than Les Coches (Montchavin) in April this year. That side of La Plagne built a new resevoir last Summer and the canons system is good. Once you come off the Vanoise you have to ski to Les Coches to get back to the main La Plagne area so they keep the runs open as best they can. Also from Les Coches the main areas of La Plagnea are very, very easy to get to. Know the area and love sking that area. Its a great prize.
