fess, Ont. has a different distribution bias than QC; they will be -everywhere- in quebec, esp. on the race teams' feet.
(You will also notice this in skis: every Dynastar and Rossi ever made, Salomon, some Atomic, some Volkl and Head, little Elan, and mostly nothing else. If you see Blizzard/Stockli/Fischer, it's a tourist.)
See if you can find a Lange shop. In re: X-wing. I suspect your coach meant Tornado-level or higher.

comprex, so i can find them in QC... but i need something for now, as we will have practices mid december in blue mountain before championships.
BTW, i wouldn't say that every kid in the championship is pro. some of them are, but greater range are goin on skis like Xenon 2.0. On Xenons 6.0 i'll be far far from the worst middle skier. maybe you didn't understand, but the competition is not on pro level, and there is no need in Dynastars

fess, know you need something for now. To explain thinking here a bit more: if a shop near you bothers to stock Lange (as they are not well represented there), then chances are they will take care to fit you properly no matter -what- the brand of boot you buy is.
