Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all, I usually ski but it turns out I may have a free 5-7 days over season to get another snow holiday in. As I'll be by myself I thought it would be a good idea to do a learn to snowboard camp, such as http://onyxsnowboarding.com/pages/morzine_camps.php?choose=all-mountain-performance. Any experiences/recommendations?

Of course I could just stick to skiing and do a warren smith course but maybe it's time for a new snow experience!

UCPA always get good reviews & may be even more suited to a solo traveler. Cheaper as well. Always wanted to go on one myself:

Onyx are wkd, done 2 freestyle camps with them and they have been great.

I did a complete beginners course at UCPA through action - outdoors a few years ago and it was great. cheap, great instruction and good company as i went alone. Going back this year for more. They always have discount codes for action outdoors too for an extra £10 off. You can use DL2014 at the moment when you book online.
