i presume the lack of response means no one has tried it.

I got my gf an Icepeak softshell last winter. It's not one othe best names, but it's been great fr everyday skiing conditions and touing, no complaints at all. Wouldn't use it in sever weather though.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I have a pair of their lined walking trousers and they are superb in the for the winter for wearing around and about. Great fit, well made and very warm!
Was looking at some of their jackets earlier and quite fancy some of their kit.

It's not bad, especially considering price. But it's more or less on low end (both price and quality wise). Icepeak goes under Luhta, and top end of their production goes out with Luhta "badge" on. Personally I'm really happy with their soft shells, but I would never buy their winter jackets. For this, I still rather stick with Halti. But then again... it's "a bit" hard to compare 150eur Icepeak winter jacket to 500-600eur Halti jacket. But it depends for what you will use it, and how much you will be using it. I spend way too much time on hill, so... But if you need it for few skiing days in a year, I'm pretty sure Icepeak will do just as fine... for a lot less money.
