This is for all those people going to Selva / Arabba / Corvara / Cortina etc. If you weren't aware, due to modern technology, it is possible to establish how much you have skiied. When I was there three years ago, my lift pass fell apart on the Tuesday, so the replacement I was given only gave results for the last three days of my trip.

I must dig mine out from last year and remind myself how many we did and that's the target obviously for next Feb ! Mind you the wife might complain as she does like a rest. I tell her that's what the chairlifts are for but that doesn't seem to cut much ice !

They've had that facility for a number of years. My 12yo and I clocked up 400ish on the last trip.

Pick the steepest and longest run that has a fast chair access. Ski it as fast as you can, get back up on the chair as quickly as you can manage. Keep doing it from the moment the lift start till it ends. Win hands down!
That's how they do it in the states. "Vertical challenge", or something like that.
Not exactly fun, in my view. But great bragging right.
