Ah - well I thought the OP was genuine. And I'd much rather give the benefit of the doubt than give the appearance that we're aggressive and antagonistic. There was a recent new thread about helmets that I thought was genuine but the (new) poster got a pretty hard time. The only thing that really gets my goat is when posters post recommendations where they have an (unstated) interest

If you're referring to the SCGB, then I'm afraid my Schnauzer caused considerable embarrassment last year during Any Other Business. I'm not willing to take a poop-a-scoop to this sort of event.
If you're referring to the SCGB, then who knows? A man tried to stab me with a poison-tipped ski pole outside Wimbledon tube station last year. Amazingly, my Oyster card saved my @r$e.

I think they have other worries now - The Gang of Four, who are trying to stage a coup. I will defintely try to be there this year. It is always more civilized on the day though.
