Poster: A snowHead

Well, only 57 days till skiing, and I can't bloody wait!! Group of five guys in our mid 20's (mixture of skiers and *spit* boarders) all with 4 to 8 weeks experience (apart from me, I've done a season) Aaaanyway, this is our first foray to the 3 valleys, and we'd love a bit of advice.
Now I know its too big an area to get info on the 'best runs' coz there are bloody millions of them, but any reccomended areas with some nice long carvey reds and some easyish off piste? A friend of a friend told us of the little known '4th valley' which is apparently 'over the back of Meribel somewhere' can anyone give us more accurate directions?!?!?!
Secondly, where would people reccomend as the best night spots? We are in Mottaret for the 1st week, is there much happening there, or should we stick to Merebel? Any suggestions for bars where we will find large numbers of attractive young ladies would be most welcome!
Cheers!!!

...go to the rond point for good apres.....loud music, crowd surfing etc. Think its not far solaise mid station....fun drunk ski back to town.
for good skiing/off piste/black runs - there are a couple of good couloirs (Grand Couloir) on the ridge between meribel and courcheval (top of the solaise lift) but they're not always open.

Mont Vallon at the top of the Valley just up from Mottaret is one of the ultimate long red runs (the left hand one, looking up at the mountain) but hit it early to avoid the bumps. Lots of off-piste between the runs once the boulders are covered, there's a (fairly hairy) route out over the back too.
The 4th Valley is generally referring to Orelle over the far side of Val Thorens - 3 lifts over that side, a restaurant plus the access Gondola so not really "little know". They could be talking about dropping in to the National Park area from the end of the Saulire ridge / Creux area (which is not allowed officially) or possibly Les Avals on the far side of 1650 - you'd need someone to show you these though. There's also the "Hidden Valley" above 1650 - a few trees and powder stashes there too.
Meribel will be more lively at night, Jacks, Evolution, Tav, Pub and Dicks for example but the Rastro in Mottaret on Tue night is always a laugh. The Ronnie as mentioned for Apres with live bands every night and Thursday Apres always a good night at Lodge du Village in Meribel Village too (there's a free bus linking all these place up).
