Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

jb1970, good grief man, can you really not dress yourself without recourse to the internet? It's a jumper - what do you want us to say? Laughing

"It's totally and completely hateful, primitive, dated and a fashion disaster.

On the other hand the one I wear has been superb and includes the antipong all-natural fibre wiping feature for when one is unfortunate enough to squat over a hole"

Yes I can dress myself very well thank you!

When I started skiing 5 years ago, I bought all the wrong kind of stuff (ordinary non-wicking fleeces, boots too big, non wicking thermals, etc). This stuff has served me well. The only thing I got right was the salopettes!

However, through experience, I came to realise that I had all the wrong stuff, so decided to do something about it.
I bought new boots last year (I had to as the other ones were 3 sizes too big!). I have recently bought new salopettes and a new jacket and I am therefore, updating my whole ski wardrobe to better, more proper ski stuff.

So there Razz (that's supposed to be me sticking my tongue out at you!).

jb1970, no idea what this 'wicking' business is all about - none of my clothes do it, whatever it is. I can see how the boots thing would be a problem though.

jb1970, no, that's unsuitable. The product description says, "Great for those nights at home alone with a few pints of stout."

jb1970, I've always found Decathlon fleeces to be good, such as this http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/rns-100-fleece-top-47602317/#

Although I'm sure in the shop they're £8 - must be slightly different
