Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kids Ski Lessons Les Deux Alpes - Options

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I wonder if anyone could give me the benefit of their experience and possible recommendations for kids ski lessons in Les Deux Alpes (also hoping Easiski may see this, as an authority on all things L2A).

My kids (8 year olds) would be doing 2* ESF level next time, and we've always used that school previously (found it very good). But I was a bit disappointed last year. There seemed to be a lot of "follow me", "do what I do" approach which didn't really work given the large class strung out across the piste so it ended up more like a mornings ski guiding/creche, and there didn't seem a great deal of improvement through the week. What size should a class be?

I was wondering what other options/alternatives to consider for a party having three 8 year olds (ESF 2*), a five year old that's a "bold" flocon, and an 11 year old who's due on equivalent of bronze etoile level. Ought to add we're going back Feb half term so it may be all classes would be "rammed" that week so perhaps I'm being too critical of ESF, views please?

chimera191, I think Easiski may be getting ready to go back to Deux-Alpes, so may not see your post for a couple of days. Why not email her using her website? www.easiski.com (click on her picture at the bottom right)

chimera191, If you email me I can talk you you about it. I haven't gone yet, but less than 48 hours to go until I leave so it's all about frantic, rushing. I can personally help your 5 year old. I have some ideas for the others too. Very Happy
