Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not done a season but I have been to both twice and am back in 19 days. Can share info with you if you like on general matters. I know of a saisonaires hostel in Morzine.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Again, no season but been going for about 5 years every Jan. It is a fantastic area. OK a bit low alt at Morzine but Avoriaz is always your banker. You must do the Portes du Soleil circuit too. Morzine is a very pretty savoyard village central to the area. Avoriaz is your ski in/out convenience.
Bars - Dixies and Buddha are the best. Try etal restaurant for great food. It's a busy place though! Plenty of Brits there these days aswell.
I love the place

Been a nuber of times over the last couple of years and twice this season, going back end of March. I am sure you will enjoy it. Best seen January - February when most of the resorts are accessable, as many are low lying. Something for everyone, cruisy blues to the infamous wall!!
The Place and le Cabin probably the liveliest spots with scandinavians partying.
Have fun.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Fantastic area, endless off-piste options, would love to do a season there but haven't unfortunately!
