Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Weekends away- December

Here is a challenge!

New skiis to muck about on- and want to use up a few days before the company takes them off me.

Can anyone suggest a place, not too far away in Europe, so I could get a long weekend in around Mid December?

Perhaps an Easyjet from Luton- to where? Is there good snow to be had in Europe mid-December?

I am lucky enough to be going away in Feb 09- just being greedy I guess! Very Happy

I'm an hour from Zurich. PM me if you want a week-end rate. I've only just finished the web site and don't have many bookings yet for this winter

tbanting, there is sometimes good snow in mid December, but it's impossible to predict where (sometimes Austria has the best early snow, but not always) but regardless of snowfall many resorts are only just opening fuly the week before Christmas. So apart from the obvious contenders - like Tignes (which is a long transfer) the advice to wait and see where the snow is makes sense. You shouldn't find any problem with accommodation and slopes will be blissfully quiet (unlike February wink )

keep watching the webcams and see where the snow falls..and book quickly last min if Austria gets the good early snow again. We usually go to Zermatt in December and tignes would be the same..high and snow sure.
