Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Why Marker just out of interest?

Either would do the job! Am I right in thinking Jesters run from 6 din upwards? If then you may be better off with other bindings.

I would go Griffon (they are cheaper) and I doubt since you are just starting out you will need anything particularly burly.

Din is the retention setting of your boot, you will not be out the range of the Griffon and you probably aren't big enough or bad enough to damage them.

I promise you that you will not get back on a snowboard once you are in to skiing

wink Laughing

i stole my mates skis for two days earlier in the year. and refused to get off the slope. dont wana sound big headed but i caught on really quick. i think the whole ballance and movement of me ice skating alot of my life has helped.
if im going to be doing alot of jumping etc should i have a higher din?

if you *need* Jesters you'll probably know it (ie you ski on very high DIN settings)
aside from this, I suspect Jesters might be a bit more durable given that the Griffins have a bit more plastic in them so this would be the only reason to pay the extra IMO

benyl, generally yes but if you are not doing it them you should have someone charting it and setting your dins up for you.

GOod to hear you have come over to the right side-generally hockey players do pick it up real quick, least you'll have the hockey stops nailed.

As Arno says.
