Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dynafit Zzero Boot Sizing Question

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

I was looking at a good deal on a pair of Dynafit Zzero4 C boots online and I am a bit confused about the shell sizing. I am a 27.5/28 in Scarpas (Spirit 4 in this size fits well length wise), but it seems that for Dynafit the shells are the same size for the full size and then the .5 of that size, unlike the Scarpas (same size for the .5 size and then the next full size up). So, I am trying to figure out if I should be looking at the 28 Dynafit shell as the approximate same size as the 27.5/28 in Scarpas or if the 27 Dynafit would be more similar to the length of a 27.5/28 in Scarpas.

I will definitely take the boot to a good bootfitter for some custom work (likely new footbeds and liners), but they are a good enough deal to make it worth it (US$300), so I would like to at least try to make them work if possible.

Thanks
