They both would look good on Gaper Day. Does it matter which one is real?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

flowkid718, you can put lipstick on a pig...
arv, is right. Go buy something with a bit more understated cool.
If you're serious though... Hard to tell if they are fakes but there are loads of them on ebay and they do look too cheap. Best contact Spyder and ask them.

I don't think they really track (or care about) gear from 1995.
They both look older than screamingflowkid.

Check out those SAVOURY threads!
They'd look great with a pair of Slalomons I saw on eBay - they come with boot slots!

What the hell do you want them for? They're ancient. The second one looks genuine though, but who'd want it. I would have thought given their age that they both might be real, hard to tell from the pictures of the first one and I'm not up to speed on the really old stuff.
I can spot a modern fake at about 100m.

Should anyone decide that the casinos in Vegas are as good a place as any to throw away their money there is a Spyder outlet shop opened late August and the prices were fantastically low. We happened on it by chance (it had only opened the day before). If only I had stocked up, I could have paid for the whole trip with the profit. Still we all got a few things!

papasmurf, I lived in Newfoundland for a bit - most people skied in their snowmobile Jackets. Not a great look.

I have never seen a Spyder jacket that would make me part with my hard earned.
Hmmm me thinks original poster is possibly the actual seller of these items.

I'd say they're both genuine: If they are as ancient as they look, I am pretty sure fake ski goods did not exists in those prehistorical times...
And as for whether this is a recent copy, even the chinese would realise there is no future with faking such "classics"..

It's a real shame that the likes of S & R don't take the cutting edge Spyder Stuff, like the Big Mountain, Venom & Freeride ranges. They always stick to the Legend stuff. Why? The Big Mountain gear is up there with the very best.
