Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skiing in Austria with some younger people?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Well im 17 and I've been going to Seefeld in Tirol in Austria for about 5 years now skiing but this year is the first year I'm going without my brother and his mate. Now Seefeld is a lovely place but becomes quite dead at night and im worried that I will become quite bored after skiing. So can anybody reccomend a resort with a bit more life at night and maybe that is quite popular with young people? Im quite a good skier and am going with my parents who are happy with blues and reds. Need to make the most of the 16 drinking age (for beer).

Matty919, welcome to Snowheads. Almost any other Austrian resort probably answers that description, but being old I won't suggest any. You will have lots of suggestions. The ones with the most lapdancers might not appeal to your parents (or not to your Mum, anyway wink )

Matty919, St Anton, Ischgl, Saalbach, Mayrhofen or Solden. Of those I've only been to St Anton (in the winter anyway) and it absolutely rocks for apres. No lap dancing though but plenty of table dancing Laughing

Laughing Laughing I remember those days!!!

Welcome to Snowheads! Like Matty919 says, anywhere in Austria should suit. Look at Bad Gastein to start. If you want a good night out, get there on the 14th Feb for the Red Bull Play Streets!!! Here's the link to last year's event:

Good list from boabski,

St Anton has the more difficult terrain and will present more of a skiing challenge than the others resorts. The other 4 will probably suit your parents skiing standards better.

Not that I've ever been in these places (Pam W Appears to know more about this)

Go for Solden or Mayrhofen, I assume at 16 you have not made your fortune yet and these tend to offer a better range of accommodation - if dad is paying then Ishcgl Very Happy
