Snowing heavily here at the moment and I'm only 700 M from the south coast sea front about 1-2 cm on ground and it is starting to settle on the minor roads.

Sorry Johnny - I don't live at the slope I'm afraid! I was in Pontypridd this afternoon, snowing heavily there. Snow on the slope is good but tends to get scraped off so you end up skiing on part snow - part plastic, a strange combo but good practice for variable conditions

Can anyone tell me if there's any snow in Windsor? (melting fast here in Bristol, freeze-thaw conditions interesting on the bike this morning). Heading off there for the weekend and need to know whehter to pack the sledges!

FAQ
Apparently, all the nasty traffic which would be normally coming out of Bristol and blocking the roads, was all stuck in Bristol, and nothing could get out. They even stopped all the busses I hear. Not that it takes much for that.
