Poster: A snowHead

Not sure whether this should be here on in the Apres Zone...
Am off to Munich this pm and tossing up whether to bother with an Austrian vignette or just to take the extra time to battle through Bregenz and save the money... trouble is I don't actually know how much the 10-day vignette is at present. Can anyone help?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

DB, thanks for that, think I might be able to stretch to € 8 Best to get it at the border or see if a petrol station here in CH has them?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Hi,
When I went in the summer, I paid 9.50 Euros for the vignette but there are tunnel charges on some routes as well, which were also around 9 euros each. For us to drive from Germany to Slovenia it was around 25 Euros in total for charges, so it will probably depend on your route.

eng_ch, on the way into Austria from Munich towards Kufstein on the motorway, the signs for last 2 or 3 services had splendid two headed Austrian eagle badges attached to them indicating that the services sell Austrian vignettes. Might avoid a queue at the border, but maybe most people will have an annual one.

richmond, yes, I guessed that might be the case, but it looks like I might be able to get this corridor one for the 20 km between CH and Germany; evidently I can get it at the BP station at Hohenems
