Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

anyone know much about the new k2 extreme's? are they just a park/pipe ski or are they decent on/off piste?

sabraham, it is replacing the Public Enemy I believe?, if you search you will find loads of details on that. It is a bit of a compromise everywhere. Depends what you are looking for in a ski.

sabraham, if it's replacing the K2 Public Enemy then it will be a very good 'do everything' ski - for the right skier. My wife has some PEs and loves them.

nah the etreme is pretty much a re-badged PE, same ski!

It is the PE's replacement - just time for a re-vamp of an existing model basically. Well tried and tested ski though as the PE and loved by a lot of people. It is slightly wider but i would choose the Scott punisher over the extreme if you are looking for that one ski to do everything. Both of them a good and well priced if you buy them as packages with a binding
