Just wondered if anyone managed to get a decent late deal (Booking a couple of days before departure) last Easter during the school hols last year. Will be looking for anywhere with a good snow record either in Europe for 1 week or Canada/USA for 2 weeks. Departing 4th April. How have you got on in the past?
Trip is for 2 of us.

Drluvski, I've not done it through a tour op, but last year I was out in Austria for a week working and decided that the snow was too good to leave. I went to the tourist information in Zell am See and got a room in a b&b right next to the lifts for €25 per night and my mum sorted out a flight home later in the week for not too much cash.

Sounds good. Our plan is to go with a tour op though. Usually do DIY but is a bit late for decent priced flights now.

The likes of easyJet haven't released Easter flights yet, so there still may be the opportunity to do it DIY

i take it where you are easter hols is the week before easter and easter week, ours is easter week and the week after

jase2472, Our (Manchester) Easter Hols start on 4th April for 2 weeks. Where have you booked for?

Have decided to head for the Otztal region for 2 weeks. Going to hire a car so we'll be able to get about to the different resorts in the valley.
Does anyone know about, or know where to get hold of any decent apartments in the area. Either Solden, Oetz, Langenfeld, Obergurgl or Hochgurgl. Thanks
