Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I have booked my three weeks off work Smile

I have to be in Jackson Hole for 4 days for a camp I just need to decide what to do with the rest of my 16 days !

the current thoughts are stay in Jackson for the duration and day trip out to Targhee and snowking maybe? a bit like what I did this year?

or my other thought is going by the price of flights £200 more than last year - get a flight to Salt Lake City which is about £60 less and ski some resorts there before getting a bus down to Jackson - I cant afford car hire as I will be doing this trip solo as I have no mates who ski !!!

I would be really comfy returning to JH but dont know whether I should try a little more adventure ?!

Helen LS, Never been to JH but have been around some of the resorts in SLC, go onto www.epicski.com and post the same I am sure you will find folks ready to show you round the slopes so you wont be on your own for long.

stay in JC, hire a backcountry guide, get the bus to Targhee a few days, a day or 2 dogsleeding and the time will fly past!

I know the time will go fast I went for 17 days earlier this year including trip to targhee and yellowstone I so didnt want to come back and I said at the time I would come for a month next year but I have just been sailing so had to use up some of my hols so can only go skiing for 3 weeks now ! and I am a bit I never go back to the same place twice but this is Jackson Hole Smile Smile

I should just book the flights and be done but procastination is a chick thing Toofy Grin
