Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Environmentalists to protest again in Rila national park

Poster: A snowHead
Environmentalists have invited people in Bulgaria to join a protest at the bottom station of the newly constructed ski lift in Rila tomorrow. The demonstration is aimed at expressing their disagreement with the continuing construction of an illegal ski lift, as part of the illegal Panichishtethe ski resort, the environmentalists said. Despite a year of protests in Rila, construction still continues, apparently with no help from government ministers or state institutions, who remain silent on the issue. More than 150,000 Bulgarian and foreign citizens have signed a petition insisting the construction be stopped. As a result, the European Union began an infringement procedure against Bulgaria. ...But according to the environmentalists, still, “the Bulgarian state institutions couldn’t care less”.

Eight new ski resorts are planned for Rila national park and its buffer zone, including Panichishte–The Seven Lakes–Kabul, Super Borovets, Iskrovete, Bodrost–Kartala, Dolna Banya–Ibar, Kostenets–Belmeken, and the expansion of the existing resorts in Semkovo, and Treshtenik.

Don't know the merits of the environmentalists' case - but I rather like a country ignoring EU interference.
