Poster: A snowHead

Zegna Sport has created a solar ski jacket, the Solar Ski-JKT. It has a collar-mounted solar panel to harness the sun's rays, so that you can keep your mp3 players and phones fully charged on the slopes. Apparently, it can charge most 5 and 6 volt devices. ...See: http://www.zegna.com/solarski?lang=en

Hey, it's a pretty cool idea. Especially if it can power mini dv cameras, walkie talkies etc. Probably stupidly expensive though.

I don't agree - what if you're out in the back-country? Limited application for piste-bashers, perhaps, but I can see it coming in handy for some.

Hate to think how much it costs. I've a Zegna shirt I bought (heavily discounted) in Milan a few years back, list price then was about £200.
