Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

jase2472,
I don't know I suspect it varies. One thing to watch for though is that many of the no frills airlines have different routes in winter and summer. Not all of the ski routes may be available at Easter.

I've booked second week of Easter hols, LGW - GVA, £102 return with BA.

I've also booked half term, LTN - GVA, £170 return with Easyjet.

jase2472, they should be cheaper than half term, by quite a lot if you can be a bit flexible about when you fly (though that obviously has to depend on your accommmodation. The BA prices sound good. easyJet have only just released their schedules for the winter - they won't release the next lot till October, or thereabouts.

Just had a check on the flights we've booked for next Feb.to Canada - they've increased by over £100 each since we booked Shocked Checking the seating plan there doesnt seem to be many more seats sold( Im not surprised tbh wink )

Now does this mean the plane will be half empty so we can have a pick of seats and spread out or will they drastically reduce them nearer the time to fil the plane ? Puzzled Puzzled

Bones, there's six months to go. Lots of people will book much later, so I wouldn't get your hopes up about having whole rows to yourself!

If it stays that way, then the carrier might choose to pull the flight.

BA are competitive with easyjet and ryanair at certain times and certain routes. So it'd be a good idea to check BA out.

I am not sure how much attention they pay to that these days. We have friends going to New York in November who booked months ago (at a good price) who have been told that the flight is cancelled so they can (1) get their cash back and stay at home or (2) pay more to fly at another time. No question, apparently, of being moved to another flight on another day at the price they have already paid !

malcolm1, it has happened to someone else on here too with a BA flight. They also pulled the flights that a group of SnowHeads had booked to go to last seasons EOSB
