In your opinion please give the best ski area you know of. And why Thanks
For example: Austrian Alps-Exellent snow, nice people
Or Canadian Resorts always good snow.
Thanks again

The best resort is the one I am currently at...
Therefore at the moment there IS no best in the world

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

As I grow older and wiser I'm drawn more to the Swiss Alps, like Charlie Chaplin and Tina Turner.

Alta. No snowboarders.
And great powder.
And all in bounds but lots of steeps.

We're out-breeding you, Alta will yet fall to our hordes and we will ravage the slopes, sleep with your women (or vica-versa?) and teach your children about the Darkside!

Coming from the UK we have been spoon-fed the resorts that the Operators deem we would like and by and large they are all good. But, lately we have been going to places that are not so well known and have got used to going indie. Places that I have been to recently, plan to go to soon are, Alagna, Gressoney, Val Annivers, Engleberg and a spot that I read about but can't quite recall in the Arlberg. The point being that anywhere in the mountains can be great in the right conditions with the right company for me!

On Tina Turner I believe the snow is better higher up.
