Anyone have any suggestions?
Must be:
- suitable for children (aged 10 & 14)
- not too expensive
Cheers

R32, theres a McDonalds very close to the off ramp that serves the cheaper chain hotels if I recall correctly,I don't know if that's any good for you ? It really depends on where in Reims you will be staying, it's a fairly big city

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

R32, I can recommend this place. Had a fantastic lobster in cognac sauce there a couple of months ago Good service, nice atmosphere. The prices are, well, not extra cheap but worth the money!

R32, I can't remmber which, but one of the hotels there, possibly the mercure, had a restaurant that served dinners and seemed reasonably priced, we arrived there very late and the only place still serving was the Mc Cardboard

R32, bistro attached to the Hotel Bristol (which is also a decent hotel), is excellent, and reasonably priced. Nothing at all in Reims Tinqueux. http://www.bristol-reims.com/

D G Orf, Stayed at the Mercure a few times and have eaten in the restaurant but wanted something more child friendly, pizza type restaurant would fit the bill I think.

R32, there is always Buffalo Grill which you find in all out of town shopping areas. This is a child friendly, not expensive restaurant chain.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

We stayed at the Hotel Bristol last year although we did not eat there, went to restaurant a couple of doors further up road and there was plenty of choice for the children (12 &14). There also seemed to be plenty of other restaurants to choose from.

Doesn't fit the bill but this place is worth a mention for dining in Reims.

You know it makes sense.

There's also a fantastic Italian in a back street near the Hotel Tambour, they don't have a restaurant and send you there. The food is superb, but I can't remember the name of the restaurant. The Osso Bucco is fab, and the portions are huge.
