Switzerland..... teeny little resort in the Valais, hardly any piste, not many folks go there.

Most of my pics are in the NF shade and the snow kept very well. That day above (pic by snowbunny) was not the greatest snow-wise but the scenery and route were worth it, I think.
Next year we will do the other side ...there is a really enticing face just right of shot which will require a skin and a traverse.
snowbunny, you are right..the people of the barrage give it a sense of scale...and the walk across that must take 10-15 mins..
