Hi snowheads
Has anyone on here been unlucky enough to have required a tendon and ligaments to be reattached to a finger? Had surgery on my left little finger yesterday and now at home feeling sorry for myself. Would be 'great' to share a similar story with anyone that has or is going through a similar experience.

Gillian, Mate of mine did the same skiing, sore for a few days after the op and the splint was awkward, but fairly easy after that.

Gillian, not full use but not bad and the finger was fairly straight.

kooky, If i ever do go again.. And i probably wont!! I would make sure the bunch of men could hear and understand instructions AND have a sense of ryhthm with the paddles!! Jeez .... If i could only turn the clock back! Could have been worse i suppose ... I could have been in for surgery to reattach my head. My little finger copped it trying to get the rescue rope off my neck! Ha well, least i can say i've visited an olympic sports venue! More than a huge amount of unlucky british attempting to buy olympic tickets!

well i've never experienced this kinda surgery . But i am sorry for u . anyway now your fine and u dont need to think about it more . this is the part of life and ups and downs came into our lifes . hopefully u will doing fine soon . Best of luck

I heard this kind of surgery but i never saw this surgery in actual..i studied nursing but i haven't attended an operation with that kind of surgery. So i think you are now move on with your surgery.
