Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello all - anyone been here in late January please? We like to look of the properties we are considering and the general location, but opinions as to suitability for a mixed ability group ranging from two kids in the 4th week skiing (not in ski school and confident on all green, blue and easier reds), through a couple of plodding intermediates, to one who likes long fast runs with a bit of danger Very Happy

Don't need wiild nightlife (can't remember what to do with it....) but a couple of bars welcome, for apres ski / pre dinner drinkies

Thanks Very Happy

I'm no La Cluzaz expert, but it sounds from your description as though it would suit you very well.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Went in January 2007. Considering 2007 was no great shakes snow wise we managed to catch it just after a major dump and the snow was fab. Stayed with Gravite - great chalet, nice people running it. The chalet was a bit out of town but we took it in turns to drive. Apres ski was good. Able to wend our way from the pistes back to the town centre and almost straight in to a bar (or two wink ). Only an hour or so from Geneva so transfer times are not a problem. Great resort - would go back. This is my desktop. A pic taken from the Col de Balme.
