Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It may be the first public thread ever started on snowHeads, commenced at 23.24 on 5 February 2004.

Someone more expert in excavating this site may be able to confirm this.

Good Lord, this must have been one of the first threads on snowHeads, non? Should the first be placed in a glass case and mounted over an as yet to be designed forum fireplace?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Chasseur, I did a second excavation last night, sifted through various bones and pottery, and concluded that this is the first. The clues lie in the first registered snowHeads - u brain and admin - and what they posted first. No other snowHeads registered until 6 February 2004.

Which would make Chasseur the first ever poster on here (excluding admin obviously). In which case, congratulations snowHead

Except that he/she wasn't called Chasseur. And, embarrassingly, I can't recall Chasseur's original name.

You don't get this problem with conventional archaeology.

Several of the founding fathers and mothers seem to have changed their names, incidentally.

[takes a bow] Thank you, I was in here and out of the SKGB faster than a rat up a drainpipe, or perhaps a rat leaving a sinking ship following advice from one of the temporary refugee camps that were set up after MO day for those suffering deep shock and forum withdrawl symptoms - thank you Yoda, though obviously we knew you by a different name and occupation. Sir David Goldsmith's unofficial bag carrier and servant Laughing

Proud to be the 3rd registered at the then new sanctuary after a certain admin and ubrain who once led us to believe that his handle was a derivation of one Brian Yew.....my we knew how to have fun in those days [/takes a bow]

David, well age does have it's disadvantages and to be honest I've also lost track of some of the many name changes and pseudonyms that have occured over the last 5 years.

Mark Hunter - you responded to the first ever info request I had on the old SKGB site. And I've been back to that fine "establishment" regularly ever since. The Madam sends her regards and asked if the welts have now healed.... Toofy Grin

You also once kindly provided some info on Sondra Norheim for a presentation I was involved with. Apparently you used to ski with him....? Toofy Grin wink
