Poster: A snowHead
|
Can anyone tell me of their experiences of this company who go to PDS, 3 valleys and La Plagne.
We have used Esprit the past two seasons.
Kids will be 8 and 5 next season and we will go the week after the Feb half term (because the kids' school will be closed to move into a new building)
thanks

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Bit of a result being able to avoid half term!
We are probably the closest competitor to FSC, but have generally heard good things about them from staff and guests. People that run the firm certainly seem clued up and professional and if we are full on a particular week they are the only other firm we confidently recommend.
Not quite the response you were looking for but hope it helps.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I lived in Ardent a couple of years ago where the Family ski co operate in the PDS. The set up there is very very convenient for familys, we shared the telecabine with many of their guests each day in the morning (everyone seemed mostly happy, ) and our kids attended the same ski school (Montriond esf). The ski school is a small one and can get a little overun but essentially seemed very competant. The Fam ski co employed two ski school helpers that work with the esf at the ski school to escort FSC children to and from lessons, sorting lunch etc. The FSC did carry out training for their staff for the first week or two of the season which seemed pretty organised and I met the owners of the FSC who also seemed nice.

chrisb, Quite a while ago now, and the company has changed hands since we went, but Ardent in PdS a good if quiet location, Michelin starred restaurant for the chalet girls night off. If their philosophy is unchanged they will have a nanny who takes children to and from the slopes, and the emphasis is on snow play, of which skiing is one option, for the smaller kids. We found them to be much more customer centred and flexible than Esprit. But that was 10 years ago....
