Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
I am being lazy as I am sure it has been asked before but anyone know if during winter there are any direct trains from Geneva to Bourg, or buses from Geneva airport to Bourg?

Cheers

Hire a car its quicker and generally cheaper. Also going via Lyon to Bourg St M is the best route.

Fogliettaz, Hiring won't be possible as it would be the in laws coming down to visit and they wouldn't drive. We would have a car up in Arc 2000, they can get flights out of Bristol to Geneva, I was just wondering if it was possible for them to get to Bourg by public transport. Cheers.

Train is not a sensible option from Geneva. They could fly to Chambery were it is a short taxi ride to the train station and direct train service to BSM.

rob@rar, They live in West Wales and Chambery is still not well served out of either Bristol or Cardiff. Just thinking of options so that if they wanted to come visit us up in 2000 and look after the kids and do our cooking they could. How noble of me Toofy Grin

boredsurfin, Your concern is touching however as I will be resident in a snow sure part of Paradski I won't have to spend 1/2 my day on slow lifts trying to get to the skiing, so if they arrived late afternoon in Bourg that would be fine as its only 30-40 mins down the road. Toofy Grin . Just looking at options.
