Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Autumn race training

I have a vague inclination to get into gates October/November. (The objective being to get a bit faster for the Inferno where last year's performance didn't just involve stopping for a quick vin chaud on the way down but it could have involved picking the grapes). NSG.

Snoworks clearly one option. Any other thoughts/recommendations/reviews?

the one i have heard most good reports about are flain super ski the coaches are Ex =french team coaches and they seem to get better access to gates than the others [no personal experience, just those of clients]

David Murdoch, There has been some chatter about getting a group together and getting our own trainer as opposed to going with one of the groups suggested to keep costs down and have some flexibility. Perhaps staying at one of our respective flats during a low season week like the first two weeks of dec or mid jan.... If you are interested PM me your email address and i will add to the mailing list.

skimottaret, David Murdoch, Just seen this post. If people are interested it would be very easy to arrange the race training in Les Arcs again. They have some great trainers here as this regions French ski Etudes are also based here and those trainers that have been used in the past all speak excellent English. There are a few people with apartments here already so finding places to stay should be know problem outside school holidays. We could even have our own training area if it is in low season weeks. PM me if you want to look at setting something up.

snowcrazy, sounds good, escpecially during the low season. Once i have some more information on the training i am looking at organising/tapping into i will let you know the proposed weeks. I am thinking about bumps, variables and some general piste performance training in the 3V's tailored mainly at peeps going through the BASI system but all welcom.. Perhaps the same group would be interested in racing training through your self down the road.....

skimottaret, I could well be interested in this - although probably more in the racing than the other stuff (although my bumps could certainly do with some attention Wink ).
