Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We are proud and selfish parents when we go skiing
. While we love our kids they are not good enough by any stretch of the imagination to ski with us all day (their time will come soon enough where they are whopping Mammay and Daddys ass on the slopes
). We have been now with Esprit 3 times and they have had a mixture of all day lessons and childcare. We normally aim to be back by 3-4pm to ski with them for an hour or so and they have morning lessons
Last week for reason I won't bore you with anymore we got a chance to go across to Belle Plagne for a weeks skiing using Crystal. Crystal has closed down their childcare facilities though. Then I remembered this company that I had saved the link to. When I say 'company' it is a business run by Val. We hired a private nanny for Belle Plagne, she also has a creche in Peisey. Worked out brillant for us and if anyone is looking at options outside of Esprit or other main TO's and want to do their own thing, you can do far worse that get your own nanny for the week.

, Very few, but that was our call. As the ski school was outside the door and they started at 9.15am we dropped them off and we went off skiing. Main thing we couldn't cover was the 12.15 colelction so nanny was there for that and played with them (and brought a picnic for them
) while we stayed out. Normally we were back by 3pm but we had a lesson one day so got back about 4.45pm.
