Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
A 22-year-old pro extreme snowboarder, Wallace Westfeldt, died yesterday just outside his hometown of Aspen after jumping off a cliff in an out-of-bounds area beyond the Aspen Highlands ski area. This is the first fatality in the Aspen area this season. Westfeldt was a rising snowboarding star who ranked third among men in the North American Snowboard Freedride series. He is on the High Society Freeride Company Web site as a pro team-sponsored snowboard rider.

How sad. 22 is so, so young, even if he did die "doing what he loved" as many will doubtless attest. Condolences to his family.

Recently attended the funeral of a 43 year old man who died instantly of causes yet to be fully determined and who leaves a widow and a 7 year old daughter.

It is a cliche 'he died doing something he loved' but it is true. Condolences to his family Crying or Very sad

Desperately sad. Having had personal experience of knowing someone affected by a similar accident, I somewhat understand how dreadful those immediately involved must feel. My condolences.

woody creeker, inspite of the circumstances, a warm welcome to snowHeads - I hope you have many happier threads to be involved with.
