Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

which ski boots?

Hi all...i'm new to this site and was hoping for some advice with ski boots.
I have been on 6 or 7 ski trips and although never had lessons, consider myself an ok intermediate skier with no style!
It's time to buy some boots me thinks. I have always hired and have never had particularly comfortable boots. On my recent trip to Borovets, on the last day i tried a few new boots. The most comfortable were a pair of Dolomite Omega 10. These had a button on the back which opened the back of the boot to enable easy walking. They were a bit like the old style rear entry boots. I decided not to impulse buy and do some research instead. However, i can't find these boots for sale anywhere, and a google search doesn't help. Has anyone heard of this model, or know anything about them, or where i can get some more info? I know that rear entry boots are not used much now for some reason, but they were so comfortable and anything else i tried on just didn't feel as good.
Any advice nuch appreciated Madeye-Smiley
